The Officer Down Memorial Page Remembers…
Deputy Michael Callin succumbed to injuries inflicted the previous day when he was intentionally struck by the driver of a vehicle while operating a radar. Deputy Callin was standing under an overpass when he attempted to stop a speeding vehicle. The driver of the vehicle intentionally sped up and struck Deputy Callin and then fled the scene.
This non-profit 501(c)(3) organization provides scholarships to students and police academy recruits who exemplify the qualities of integrity and service to others that characterized Michael's life.
